CONTRACT FOR SERVICE

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Employee’s job scope shall be as follows:

  1. Carry out his duties as per the requirements of the deployment site or as instructed by the shift leader or operations manager.
  2. Ensure proper taking over and handing over of duties and that all equipment are checked and accounted for before coming on or leaving a shift.
  3. To assist where necessary any public officer or employee of a statutory board in performing any function or discharging their duty and not to interfere, hinder or obstruct them to do so.
  4. Be alert and vigilant at all time when performing duties and report to the Police of any surveillance or suspicious activities without undue delay.
  5. Keep the Operations Manager updated on developments and incidents and feedback on any defects and irregularities found.
  6. Other job-related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
  7. Maintain security equipment, video, Walkie-talkies in good working order and report failures immediately.
  8. Be smartly attired in uniform and display PLRD Identification Card clearly.

REMUNERATION

Salary shall be paid in the following manner:

  1. Every Friday after 6 pm, for the duration of working days, Monday to Thursday.
  2. Every Monday after 6 pm, for the duration of working days, Friday to Sunday.

The Employee will be charged a $20 uniform fee which will be deducted from the first payment. This amount  will be refunded in full to the employee upon return of the uniform to the company.

No salary will be paid in the following events:

  1. In the event the officer works less than two (2) hours per shift;
  2. Any grievances were made by the client which requires the officer to replaced and; 
  3. Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct (See Below).

CODE OF CONDUCT (COC)

WHEN CARRYING OUT YOUR FUNCTION AS A SECURITY OFFICER, A LICENSED SECURITY OFFICER MUST :

(A) NOT SLEEP

(B) NOT CONSUME ALCOHOL OR BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

(C) NOT BE ABSENT FROM THE PLACE WHERE HE IS DEPLOYED WITHOUT VALID REASONS

(D) NOT USE ANY THREATENING OR ABUSIVE LANGUAGE

(E) KEEP HIS UNIFORM CLEAN AND TIDY

(F) RESPOND PROMPTLY TO ANY REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE BY ANY PERSON WITHIN THE PREMISES WHERE HE IS DEPLOYED IF THE PERSON HAS SUFFERED ANY PERSONAL INJURY, OR ANY DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF HIS PROPERTY, WITHIN THE PREMISES.

​IF ANY OFFICER IS CAUGHT BREAKING THE COC, THEIR PAY WILL BE DEDUCTED OR WITHHELD PENDING INVESTIGATION; OFFICERS WILL BE REPORTED TO PLRD IF FOUND TO HAVE BREACHED THE COC.
